I just realized that something I'd wished for about a year ago has finally been accomplished in an eerily relevant way. I've always sort of looked down on those who believe in predestined fate, but this is a form of fate, really. The kind you create yourself; unknowingly.

Here's a verse from a poem I wrote months ago- maybe about a year from now.

"Sometimes, if I could be part of someone and have a meaning
We’d see past the faults of our failing systems
Stay alive to keep eachother breathing
Things would be better off."

And... well, I'm in my first sort of realistic relationship now. And the only reason we first started talking was suicide really. And now, when I'm sort of depressed, well, I talk to him. The bolded lines are just what that is. It's one of the things I've been longing for desperately for al ong itme now. Someone who cares, who depends on me at times and yet someone I can depend on, too, if I need it.

Ironic, eh?

I thought so.
